August Supporter of the month – NCC Home Learning

Each month, we feature one of our many star supporters in a blog post. All our supporters are stars and they motivate us to continue working towards a world in which everyone who needs it has sustainable access to insulin, no matter where they are in the world. This month, we are featuring NCC Home Learning, who were introduced to The Pendsey Trust by our trustee Jo Fox, who refused payment for some work she did updating on of their courses about diabetes in children and young people. After Jo donated her fee, NCC kindly decided to match it and donated further £100. The total, £200, will provide medical care for a child with diabetes in India for one year, or pay for 5 children to go to school for a year, or pay for 2 or 3 young people to receive a grant for starting a business. As an extremely small charity, it is very important to us to help spread the word and get businesses involved.

NCC Home Learning provide a range of over 350 home study courses, Jo writes, updates and teaches on some of their courses, she donated her fee to The Pendsey Trust and NCC kindly offered to match it. Back in May, we guest blogged with NCC Home Learning, here is the link:
